We can tell you about our work all day, but seeing it is different. A garage door is the largest moving object in most Dallas homes, and when it’s dented, rusted, or sagging, the whole house looks tired. These before-and-after projects show what happens when a door gets real attention from a technician who treats the repair like it’s his own. New photos from recent Dallas jobs go up here as we finish them.

Torsion Spring Replacement in Lake Highlands
Before
AfterA homeowner in Lake Highlands called us on a Sunday morning because the garage door wouldn’t budge. When we got there, the torsion spring, which is the heavy coil mounted above the door that handles most of the lifting weight, had snapped clean in two. We replaced both springs, not just the broken one, since they wear at the same rate. The door went from dead weight to lifting with two fingers. Whole job took about ninety minutes, and the written guarantee covered both springs.
Off-Track Door Repair in Oak Cliff
Before
AfterThis Oak Cliff door had one roller out of the track and another about to go. The cable on the right side had started to fray from the strain, which is how most off-track situations get dangerous. We reset the rollers, inspected the track for bends, and replaced both cables before they failed. The door now runs straight up and down without that grinding sound the owner had been hearing for weeks.
Garage Door Opener Replacement in Richardson
Before
AfterThe old opener in this Richardson garage sounded like a freight train every time it cycled. It was a chain-drive unit from the early 2000s, and the motor was getting slower every month. We replaced it with a belt-drive LiftMaster opener, added a new keypad outside, and recalibrated the travel limits so the door stops exactly where it should. The owner’s first word after we tested it: “Silent.”
Dented Panel Replacement in Plano

A Plano homeowner backed into her own garage door and caved in the bottom panel. The door still worked, but the damage was visible from the street. We matched the panel to the existing Amarr door, replaced the broken section, and checked the track alignment while we were there. You can’t tell which panel was swapped. That’s the goal every time.
Full Door Replacement in Carrollton

This was a wood door that had seen better decades. The bottom was water-swollen from years of Dallas rain splash, and the track hardware was rusted enough that we recommended against any more repairs. The owner wanted something low-maintenance, so we installed a Clopay steel door with a factory finish that won’t need painting. The new door also cut the draft in the garage noticeably, because the old one hadn’t been sealing tight for years.
Cable Failure and Spring Rebalance in Garland

We got the call from Garland because the door was stuck at a hard angle, one side up, one side down. A cable had snapped, and the remaining cable was holding all the weight by itself, which is exactly when doors drop or rip out of the tracks. We secured the door first, replaced both cables, and rebalanced the springs so both sides pull evenly. This is one repair you should never try yourself. A cable under tension can do serious damage if it lets go while you’re standing next to it.
