We’re the crew that shows up when your garage door sounds like a gunshot and refuses to budge. Bramwell Garage Doors Dallas runs on a simple idea: hire people who’d treat your house like their own, train them under the Kingswell standard, and back every repair with a written guarantee. Marcus Ellery, Owner, has built this team around one rule: know the door, explain the problem in plain English, and never leave a mess behind. No subcontractors. No strangers. Just the same faces, job after job, across Dallas neighborhoods like Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Oak Cliff, and Richardson.

Our People
Marcus Ellery, Owner
Marcus has been fixing garage doors in Dallas since 2001, and he’s seen doors that had no business still being on their tracks, rusted springs hanging by a thread, openers held together with duct tape and hope. Before Bramwell, he cut his teeth running service routes across North Texas, learning which springs fail first in the clay-heavy soil shifts that quietly pull Dallas garages out of square. These days he splits his time between the field and the phone, making sure every written price goes out before a single tool comes off the truck. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a marketing line to him. It’s his name on the invoice.
Danny R., Lead Technician
Danny’s our torsion spring specialist, the guy who can tell a worn spring from a healthy one by the way the door creaks on the way up. Fifteen years in, he’s replaced more springs in Dallas than he can count, and he still sets the winding bars the same careful way on every single job. LiftMaster and Chamberlain openers are his wheelhouse, but he’ll work on anything with a motor and a rail, including a 1990s Genie he once coaxed back to life for an elderly couple in Casa View who didn’t want to replace a perfectly good door. Off the clock, Danny rebuilds old bicycles and rides the Santa Fe Trail on weekends.
Valerie S., Senior Installer
Valerie handles most of our full-door installations and she’s meticulous about the details most people never notice: the reveal line where the panels meet, the balance of the door at every position, the seal along the bottom that keeps out Dallas’s dust and the occasional scorpion. She’s certified on Clopay and Amarr installation specs and keeps a torque wrench calibrated to the pound. Before joining Bramwell, she framed houses for eight years, which means she knows what happens to a garage opening when a slab settles and how to shim a track so the door still runs true. Valerie’s the reason our job sites get swept, wiped, and walked before we call it finished.
Benny T., Service Coordinator
Benny is the voice on the phone when you call at 11 p.m. with a door stuck wide open and a storm rolling in from Fort Worth. He’s been dispatching in the garage door trade for nine years, and he keeps a mental map of Dallas traffic patterns that’s more reliable than any app. Benny asks the questions that help you describe the problem: is the door off the track, is the opener humming, is the spring snapped or just sagging. He schedules the arrival window, confirms the technician’s name before they roll up, and makes sure you have the written price in hand before any work begins. When he’s not juggling routes, Benny coaches youth baseball in Mesquite and swears the early spring games are harder than any emergency call.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way runs through every job in Dallas, and the whole team follows the same five steps, no exceptions. We say the price before the work starts, and that price is written, the same number you’ll see on the final invoice. We show up in the arrival window Benny gives you, in uniform, background-checked, with a name you already know. We leave the job site cleaner than we found it, even if that means sweeping out the leaves that blew in while the door was open. We put the guarantee in writing on every repair, spelling out exactly what’s covered and for how long. And if something fails inside that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s the whole deal, and it’s been the same since 2001.
